Descrizione

The Magellan Baade Telescope is equipped with a 585 actuators adaptive secondary. The unit started operation in 2012 and is very similar the LBT 672 adaptive secondaries, adopting the same support structure, where the outermost actuators’ ring ia not used, and with a smaller mirror.

microgate responsibilities

Microgate designed the control system and the related electronics and real-time software, including the Real Time Reconstructor and the Slope Computers, performing final integration of the system and electromechanical testing.
