Functional assessment

OptoGait allows objective assessment of walking, running and functional movements, detecting asymmetries and variability. Ideal for physiotherapy and return to play pathways, it supports motor reprogramming and monitoring of clinical progress, in configurations from 1 to 10 m, on the ground or on a treadmill.

Objective movement monitoring

OptoGait is an optical detection system consisting of transmitting and receiving bars creating a light carpet up to 6 m wide, with approximately 1 cm resolution and 1 ms acquisition. It measures spatiotemporal parameters of walking, running and jumps, providing objective data for motor re-education and injury prevention. It integrates with GykoPro for a more comprehensive picture of movement strategies.

Objectification and monitoring of the rehabilitative pathway

OptoGait transforms every exercise into precise and measurable data, overcoming subjective assessments. Spatiotemporal parameters, symmetry, variability and movement compensations are monitored in real time, allowing physiotherapists to track progress, support clinical decisions and communicate clear results to patients and colleagues.

Portability and ease of use

Light, modular and quick to install, OptoGait can be used in various contexts, on the ground for walking analysis or functional movements, or on a treadmill for running assessments. No calibration required, assembled in seconds, reducing operating times and logistical constraints.

Opening to new sectors and preventive applications

OptoGait expands intervention possibilities by integrating sports assessments with functional and postural measures. It allows working on areas such as gait analysis, fall prevention in the elderly and functional motor control, opening new clinical opportunities and preventive applications.

Work examples

OptoGait allows functional jump analysis in return to activity or sport pathways. It integrates vertical jump assessment with more functional protocols such as single-leg, reactive and multidirectional jumps. Combined with GykoPro, it analyses eccentric-concentric phases and balance for a complete picture.

OptoGait analyses walking under natural conditions, measuring spatiotemporal parameters to identify asymmetries, variability and compensations. Usable on a treadmill or on the ground, it provides objective data to personalize the rehabilitation pathway.

Biofeedback supports motor reprogramming by providing real-time indications on rhythm, cadence and symmetries. The patient progressively adapts, improving movement control and efficiency. Integrated with GykoPro, it also allows monitoring trunk compensations.

Functional monitoring and re-education

The software allows creating detailed patient profiles and configuring personalised tests, alongside predefined protocols for rapid application. During tests it offers biofeedback, graphs, metronome and synchronised video, saving results for future comparisons. Analyses help monitor progress, detect compensations and guide targeted interventions, while biofeedback and metronome allow the patient to work independently on motor pattern restructuring.

Everywhere. Right away. Smart.
