Senior Accountant (f/m/d)
At Microgate, we develop technologies that power some of the world’s largest telescopes, optical communication systems, professional timing solutions, and performance analysis and rehabilitation systems for sports and medicine.

That’s why we’re looking for an experienced Senior Accountant who wants to contribute to the financial and administrative management of an international technology company with precision, reliability, and a broad business perspective.
Your Responsibilities
As part of our Finance & Administration team, you will independently manage, while collaborating closely with your colleagues, a broad range of accounting activities, including:
- Managing accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Processing employee expense reports
- Handling general ledger accounting
- Managing fixed asset accounting
- Coordinating insurance-related administration
- Supporting the preparation of VAT returns, Intrastat declarations, Italian withholding tax reporting (Form 770), and the reporting of grants and public funding
- Preparing reports and financial analyses to support management decisions
Your Profile
We’re looking for someone who works methodically, pays close attention to detail, and is able to manage responsibilities independently.
Ideally, you bring:
- Educational background in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Previous accounting experience, preferably within a medium-sized manufacturing company
- Solid knowledge of Italian accounting principles and VAT regulations
- Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a plus)
- Good command of Italian; knowledge of German and English is considered an advantage
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across different business functions
