HiSmart is the Microgate sensor for automatic identification of athletes along the course. Ultralight and wireless, it uses the Bluetooth LE Fast Authentication protocol to transmit its own ID to Microgate devices, enabling reliable recognition of passages only by competitors who are actually in the race.

  • Automatic identification: Each athlete is assigned a unique HiSmart code, allowing immediate identification at every passage without the risk of errors.
  • Elimination of false impulses: The system records only the passages of competitors who are actually in the race. HiLink and HiSens photocells ignore external impulses, ensuring reliable and clear data.

HiSmart is ideal for all disciplines in which athletes pass the detection points individually, such as training sessions or competitions in alpine skiing, motorsport (rally or regularity events), cycling time trials, and time trials in general.
