Speed, Strength and Power

Recuperare la capacità di esprimere forza

REHAB

Introduction

Recovering the ability to produce force rapidly and efficiently is central to the return to play pathway. Speed, strength and power are not only athletic qualities: they represent functional indicators that allow objectively assessing rehabilitative pathway advancement and establishing safe criteria for return to activity. After an injury, strength deficits and asymmetries between limbs are among the main risk factors for relapses. Monitoring movement execution speed, the force-velocity profile and expressed power allows personalising progressions and minimising overload risk. GykoPro, Optogait, Witty SEM and Witty Timing allow measuring and training these qualities in an integrated manner, transforming every exercise into a clinically relevant data point.

Examples of configurations:
flexible and customizable

Safely recovering strength, speed and power requires objective monitoring of progression and attention to residual asymmetries. These qualities can be measured and trained through VBT, functional analysis and progressive sprints, from initial strengthening to competition speeds.

Configuration 1

Guiding load with velocity (VBT)

GykoPro monitors execution speed of squats, lunges and other strengthening exercises, allowing load modulation based on the patient's neuromuscular response. Real-time biofeedback improves execution quality and enables safe progression towards increasing loads.

Configuration 2

Assessing power and functional asymmetries

The integration between Optogait and GykoPro allows measuring power, RSI and symmetries during functional exercises and jumps. Monitoring limb asymmetries allows identifying residual deficits and guiding corrective work, reducing relapse risk in Return to Play.

Configuration 3

Transferring to competition speed: sprint and reactivity

Witty Timing precisely measures sprint and acceleration times, monitoring progression towards competition speeds.
Witty SEM introduces reactive stimuli to replicate the complexity of situational sports, supporting progressive reintegration under conditions increasingly similar to competition.

Products suited for this field of application

GykoPro guides load management through speed and power. Optogait analyses jumps and functional symmetries. Witty SEM and Witty Timing develop speed and reactivity, accompanying the transition from rehabilitation to performance.
