Configuration 1
Cross Country (XC)
In Cross Country races, the start is generally a Mass Start on loop circuits repeated multiple times. Main timing is managed through active transponder chips. The Microgate system integrates a backup HiSens photocell connected to the RTpro timer and a MicroTAB display board to show race time, lap times, and time gaps in real time.
Configuration 2
Downhill (DH)
Downhill races involve individual starts at regular intervals on technical downhill courses. The Microgate solution uses a HiClock start clock, HiSens radio photocells for detecting the actual start, and an RTpro timer connected to MicroTAB or MicroGraph display boards for immediate result visualization. On permanent tracks, the system can be integrated with the HiTiming app for performance analysis.
Configuration 3
Enduro
In Enduro races, the course alternates timed special stages with transfer sections that include maximum allowed times. The Microgate solution uses HiSens photocells, RTpro timers, and HiClock start clocks, integrating the HiChrono app to transmit start and finish passages in real time to the results center, ensuring precise management even on distributed race courses.
Configuration 4
Four-Cross (4X) / Dual Slalom
These disciplines include an individual qualification phase followed by elimination heats. The Microgate solution integrates the HiStart gate and HiSens photocells for qualification rounds. In Four-Cross finals, the system can be completed with FinishLynx photo-finish technology, while Dual Slalom uses RTpro or ReiPRO timers with one HiSens photocell per lane and MicroTAB or MicroGraph display boards for result visualization.
